The ravages of socialism

A sincere attempt to implement socialism in Venezuela has created a humanitarian disaster of tragic proportions.  What began as the typical symptoms of socialist societies, bread lines and rationing, has led to far worse conditions.  Venezuelans lost an average of 19 pounds last year, they’re eating their pets and lashing out at the political establishment that enforces the socialist policy.  Only markets can save them.
