Germany reverses Easter lockdown plans after massive backlash

Merkel admits “mistake”. These people are flying by the seat of their pants. There is no scientific rationale behind the sudden, harsh economic closures. The “pandemic” is being drawn out indefinitely, just like the  Vietnam War or the War on Terror. The politicians and healthcare officials (behaving in the exact same way as generals did during Vietnam and the War on Terror) are worried for their political careers, and so they sacrifice their citizens while they quibble.

Austrian police join anti-lockdown protest

Pretty amazing to witness. You realize that the autocrats and tyrants are powerless without their police and soldiers. Without their enforcers they’re just another busybody hopping up and down, demanding that the world do what they say.

Were local mayors coordinated and coached into locking down their communities by an outside organization?

This is curious, very curious. James Anderson is an NYC-based “leader” within Bloomberg Cities, an organization funded by Mike Bloomberg that appears to primarily engage in dangling rewards in front of local mayors in order to compel them to implement certain policies. And apparently they had a big hand in how some mayors responded to COVID-19. Disappointing to discover that the mayor of my fair city is allowing herself to be puppeteered by non-local, elitist orgs such as these. So the idea to destroy the local economy last March came from this dirtbag organization?

Germany is about to close everything in their country for five days

Germany will close everything for five days over Easter weekend. Grocery stores will be allowed to open only for one day, April 3rd.

It is difficult to believe what’s happening in Europe at the moment. Why do this to your own people when there exists an abundance of evidence that it won’t work? Why allow it to happen? This is destroying hundreds of thousands of lives. The economic suffocation of millions. I don’t know what to say anymore about it, the fact that these total economic shutdowns are occurring in broad daylight, in front of the entire world, boggles the mind. The virus will spread again once everything re-opens, and Germany will repeat the same behavior, as it grinds its population into the dirt.

This is totalitarianism that cannot be reversed. Germany, along with England, Ireland, Israel, and others, are unsalvageable. Can anyone seriously imagine any group of principled individuals working to restore liberty to these countries? Even the people most harmed by these lockdowns would oppose a restoration of freedom. Restoring liberty in these nations would be akin to reinventing the wheel, having never seen one.

The great political achievements of the past, the true progress gained at great expense and for the benefit of unknown millions, are lost, utterly.

This is an unspeakable tragedy, not merely for those currently affected, but for the coming generations whose futures have been irreversibly damaged. COVID hysteria has birthed a monster.

Why do we have such an irresistible urge to sacrifice others during times of crisis?

Thinking about the self-inflicted destruction of the past year, it becomes much more clear when you realize that throughout history, various societies have resorted to human sacrifice during times of crisis. I recently re-watched the 1973 film The Wicker Man, where a police officer investigates the disappearance of a girl on an island controlled by a pagan cult, only to discover that he is to be a human sacrifice to their make-believe gods due to the failure of their fruit trees. The final scene, when officer Howie is led to the giant wooden effigy to be burned alive, is brutal.

But haven’t we seen a variation of this same scene play out over the past year? The virus was treated by the upper class almost as an angry god, and they openly demanded the sacrifice of millions to appease it. Many even relished the spectacle of it all. How is this any different from other cultures that engage in ritual sacrifice in some vain hope of bringing prosperity and peace?

Almost every culture has engaged in this behavior, and that dark impulse that we carry within us has been a very powerful, if unspoken, driving factor in the push to inflict so much harm on ourselves.

The human mind evolved over a period of several millions years during which time we had only supernatural explanations for the inexplicable world around us. We are born with that same mind, and I believe that that product of evolution plays a far more important role in world affairs, particularly in times of crisis, than we’d like to believe.
