Some people just want to hate, to punish, to unload grievances on a target. A healthy society does not allow an outlet for these people, naturally. But a deeply unhealthy society not only permits it, it enshrines a new belief system based on that hate. And they always label that extreme negative emotions with their opposite: hate becomes love, exclusion becomes inclusion, racism becomes anti-racism. It’s all we’re seeing here with the rise of the pronouns cult, an insidiously cruel religion whose unspoken primary objective is to punish and ostracize infidels or heretics. This is a religion for those who have given in to their dark side, but require a moral blank check to feel this way and openly act on their feelings. This new religion has spread through the entire social structure. Its priests and acolytes have infiltrated every institution, be it business, education, or religion. We are not equipped to mount a moral and philosophical defense, so this new religion moves and expands almost entirely unopposed.
