While I maintain that Vance is essentially a younger, more polished George W. Bush, he outclassed Tim Walz in every way during the VP debate. Walz looked frightened and helpless virtually the entire time, while Vance maintained an almost invincible, assertive calm. Vance has eloquence on tap, and the effect of his rhetorical barrage could be clearly seen on Walz’ godawful face.
