Reposting this again because I want to comment on Newsom as he behaves in public. If you’ve ever watched this guy speak, it is clear that he is filled to the brim with anxiety. And just watch the video below, his entire demeanor is of someone who is not captain of his own ship. The way he speaks, the way he moves, someone’s got the drop on him and he knows it. I genuinely feel bad for the guy, despite everything he’s done to California children and families. He behaves like someone who is trying their damndest to make someone happy who is standing just off-stage, or to prevent something from happening to him or his family. What a terrifying situation it must be.
Gavin Newsom’s last public appearance. After this he unexpectedly cancelled scheduled events including a trip to his beloved global warming conference. I hope he’s okay.
