Is the Democratic Party looking for a savior in Big Pharma? It certainly appears so, as every vote on vaccine mandates at the state level has been split down party lines, with the Democrats virtually unanimous in support, and Republicans opposed. Every instance proves this, including the latest vote in New Jersey, where a bill to remove religious exemptions passed out of committee after some shady dealing by chairman Joseph Vitale where he replaced three more obstinate Democratic committee members with three that would vote ‘yes’. Bill sponsor and Democrat Herb Conway rewrote the language of the bill without a public hearing to call for an outright ban on religious exemption. The bill passed out of committee along strict party lines. Indicative of the level of corruption present is the fact that the bill was placed on next Monday’s legislative agenda before the committee vote. The Democrats knew it would pass.
The Republican Party has been, and will continue to be, the sole political barrier to vaccine mandates. It’s my belief that the Republican party is moving in a more liberty-oriented direction. Many individual Republicans that have virulently and eloquently opposed these mandates have shown themselves to be some of liberty’s fiercest defenders. The Democratic party almost to a member lacks the courage to take stands on principle. Why is that?
