This is a great idea, and reflective of the real anti-war spirit of the Left. Recruiters are the equivalent of used car salesmen or private gang recruiters, and slimier still. Before naive teenagers, they peddle a career in cannon fodder, but paint it as an adventurous, fun way to “pay for college”. In reality, these kids will be sent through the Imperial meat grinder, stationed at some remote outpost, and placed on a path of lifelong instability. They’ll be experimented on, exploited, used, and then spit out the bottom of the war machine, and handed over to the useless VA.
The military wants to get these kids early before they’ve developed their own independent thoughts on the matter. There is nothing honorable in that.
