Hundreds of thousands of books, articles, and documentaries have promoted the philosophy of liberty over the past decades. Hundreds of millions of dollars have been spent on think tanks and endowed professorships with the professed goal of promoting a free society. And yet here we are, being dangled over an abyss by an evil that has existed since the dawn of our species, an evil that has not been diminished in the slightest by all that vain effort. And yet it’s moments like the one below that this evil fears, because it’s moments like this that begin to alter the course of history back in the favor of freedom and civilization. The mountain of worthless books and legion of think tank employees could never achieve what this man here is achieving. He’s risking his neck, and doing it alone, but by doing so he’s gaining ground on a battlefield that has been silently overtaken by that invisible, ancient evil.
