Exactly how much of what we’ve lived through these past two months has been nothing more than a scam?

I’ll take the COVID as it comes, after reading this horrific story.

Warms the heart to see that a healthy spirit of rebellion is alive and well among the skater community.

Really, though, can anyone imagine the government ever sending anyone to remove the many tons of sand that they so hatefully dumped there? It would’ve remained for years if the skaters hadn’t taken upon themselves the task of removing it.

Another item that won’t be spoken of by the corporate press, because they’re too busy castigating anyone and everyone who might wish to return to reality sooner rather than later. ‘Lockdown’ is nothing more than abstraction to the multi-millionaire, teleprompter parrots that have saturated the nation with COVID paranoia for the past two months.

These casualties, essentially human shields that have been recklessly wasted in a domestic war against a virus, are sacrifices made in vain. It was a war of choice, not of necessity, and their tragedy is forgotten amid the wildly spinning coronavirus news cycle. Of course, the sprawling corporate chain stores are doing just fine, but we never really thought that Walmart would be forced to close with the rest of us.

One interesting aspect of all this, though, is that, as more people emerge from the paranoia-induced fugue state, they’re realizing that they were duped, and now demand to get back to their lives. As these more reasonable individuals see that it is safe to return to normal life, the remaining pool of lockdown loonies grow crazier by default. These holdouts will behave increasingly like a death cult, complete with prophets and their continuously revised Doomsday schedule.  In the near future, the Lockdown Until the Second Coming crowd will be treated the same way that society treats all cults: disdain and mockery. But we should learn our lesson from this experience, and understand just how much damage that mass hysteria can accomplish when it infects the minds of those in power.

Pastor Courtney Lewis, to his eternal credit, locked the doors and refused to allow the armed and badged thugs entry. He later described the ordeal as “like the Soviet-style KGB“.

“Thankfully our doors were locked as a normal safety precaution we take each service to protect our members from the escalating gun violence in Chicago,” the pastor said.

Police are the armed agents of the State. They are employed by the State, and their paycheck depends on how well they follow orders. They will do what they’re told, even if it means surrounding a church with guns drawn.

We have to immediately admit that we were duped, by both bad data and irresponsible “experts”, and reopen everything exactly as it was before. There also must be safeguards put in place that prevents local, state, and national politicians from assuming dictatorial power over their local communities. The devastation wrought by these politicians has been incalculable. The lives ruined, the millions of people suddenly thrown into abject poverty, the severed economic links, the overnight rise of an American Police State, the paralyzing mass hysteria, all of this was the price we paid for lies and half-truths. Lies that the corporate media willingly conveyed and embellished.  None of this was worth it, and we should admit it.
