Something to remember

The COVID death toll in the US (assuming it’s accurate) of 160,000 is still far less than the 250,000 that are killed by medical error (a euphemism for the actions of careless/stupid healthcare workers) every year in this country. And unlike COVID, medical error doesn’t discriminate by age.

But since these deaths are never reported on national news, they may as well not have happened.
