This article about New Jersey gov. Phil Murphy’s authoritarian behavior is pretty insightful. What’s worrying is that this type of “strongman” autocracy is becoming normalized by the corporate press:

“With immense emergency powers afforded under New Jersey’s constitution, the one-time Goldman Sachs partner has almost unchecked sway over how the state navigates the most complex public health and economic challenge in a century.

Every 30 days for the last six months, Murphy has re-upped a state-of-emergency order that’s allowed him to bypass the Legislature and normal rule making procedures. Businesses were directed to close. Evictions and foreclosures have been suspended. Should it come to it, the state could confiscate privately held medical supplies.“

Doesn’t really sound like the mainstream press minds at all the way that these governors have been ruling over their populations. I even detect a hint of admiration.  A press that fawns over dictators is a very dangerous development. They’ll whitewash their crimes, and witch hunt political enemies and dissidents. They’ll target and smear actual journalists. Much of this is already happening.

It is morbidly fascinating to watch so many of the seemingly outlandish conspiracy theories come to pass during COVID hysteria. A rapid descent into martial law, the unbridled devastation of economic shutdowns, total surveillance, the emergence of a bizarre, Charles Manson-esque hypochondriac pseudo-religion, COVID FEMA camps, forced quarantine, and many others. The FEMA camp example is particularly surreal. Weren’t claims that FEMA internment camps were being built around the US dismissed as lunatic ravings? Now, and thanks to the sepulchral cult surrounding COVID doomsdayism, the public has been psychologically primed to accept as normal their fellow Americans being corralled against their will.

And now we have the mother of all conspiracies, the New World Order. Yes, we’ve heard about it for years. The designs of a shadowy elite for global totalitarianism that they control. It may have sounded outlandish prior to 2020, but now it’s here, only rebranded as “The Great Reset”. It’s no longer a conspiracy; the wealthy and powerful of the world, otherwise known as the Davos crowd, have created just such a plan, and now see COVID hysteria as the perfect opportunity to unleash it.

As Simon Marcus tells it:

“The Great Reset calls on a vast global network – thousands of world leaders from business, politics and civil society. They all share variants of the Davos worldview. And they are supported by a vast income from corporate membership fees. Davos also has a youth wing – the Global Shapers Community. Over 9,655 ‘shapers’ work from 428 ‘hubs’ in 148 different countries…

The Great Reset is ‘woke’, too. Its advocates think it is ‘important to acknowledge “white privilege”’. The Great Reset also seems to have embraced Black Lives Matter. In the UK, white working-class boys have fallen behind black and Asian boys, and girls from all ethnic groups, in education at most academic levels. Evidence suggests they are failing massively in life outcomes, too. But the global elites who run Davos say they are privileged.

The Great Reset also envisages the Covid crisis as permanent. The breathless updates on its website present a fire-and-brimstone vision of the pandemic. But it is just as true to say that the panicked and irrational responses to Covid have causedthe current crisis. And even though the UK, for instance, experienced fewer excess deaths in July 2020 than in July 2019, the crisis is never allowed to end. It is not hard to see the threat to civil liberties that the perma-hysteria on Covid could lead to. The WEF has even floated the idea of ‘Health Passports’.“

“The Great Reset” is not a baseless conspiracy theory. It is spoken of openly by the most powerful people in the world. It has it’s own website. It has behind it the greatest public relations geniuses that money can buy to sell it to the public. Just look at how quickly they incorporated the “woke” language of the young today in order to get them on board.

The wealthy and powerful of the world have spun out plans since the dawn of time. This one is no different. It’s just very fascinating in a grim way that it has emerged in the midst of the COVID panic. But as Jimmy Dore is fond of saying, “chaos benefits the Establishment”. You’d be hard-pressed to find a more chaotic time in recent history than what we are living through now. I suppose it shouldn’t come as a surprise that so many of these elite designs are being sprung on unsuspecting, shell-shocked populations. But they must be opposed.

Someone must be held accountable for the lockdown-induced suffering. It can’t be a finger-pointing game this time. Every political parasite that enacted and enforced the shutdown of the their local and state economies must face a judge and jury. The tragedy resulting from the actions of these political thugs will be bottomless.

The very real and urgent debate over unpunished police misconduct has been set back years. Now, and ironically thanks to the Black Lives Matter movement, the debate has become an ignorant flame war between idiot groups. One side says abolish police while committing egregious acts of violence against the innocent, the other side defends police no matter what and argues that they need even greater protection and power. It is true that US police kill far more people per capita than any other developed nation. They have vast power, union protection, qualified immunity, and much more. Much of this power and immunity should be stripped of police, but this doesn’t translate into “abolish the police”. Everyone should be exposed to accountability.

The debate should be about equal justice, the protection of the innocent, and swift punishment for those who commit violence against the innocent, regardless of the side of the badge the perp resides. Does this mean we should abolish police? Of course not. Clearly, as seen from the savage riots plaguing American cities, society needs protection against violent thugs. But there must be another institution providing protection, since police clearly are not up to the job when violence truly heats up. Ideally this protection should come from the private sector, since private individuals simultaneously are more easily held accountable, and more readily able to use defensive violence against an imminent threat.

Instead, we have police worshipers on one side, and police haters on the other. This shallow, schoolyard screaming match is what now passes for “debate” over police accountability. It’s pathetic, and we all suffer because of it.

The events of the past six months (fundamentally it is only one single event, the sudden emergence and spread of mass hysteria) is comparable to extinction-level events found in the natural world’s history. The difference between this one and those natural phenomena is that this mass hysteria is purely psychological, meaning it doesn’t exist in the physical world. It could be described a a psychic contagion, a virus of the imagination. I’m sure there’s a better way to describe it. But it is interesting that something so destructive could spread so quickly and have such a profound effect on the world economy. And an economy itself is a purely psychic phenomenon, in the sense that our plans, intentions, and predictions exist only in our minds. And those plans and actions are effected, and in turn effect, the plans and actions of others. Society itself is held together by this invisible network of minds, a network of ever-evolving decisions based on individual personal judgments about the present and future state of the world. It’s a strange abyss you find yourself in if you think too long about it.

So, is COVID hysteria destructive and pervasive enough to inflict a mortal wound on the modern world? Has it already? If it is, then I think it’s interesting and significant that the apocalyptic event to decimate our species doesn’t exist in the physical world. This may make little sense, as I’m only just now attempting to finally get this idea out of my head that has been swirling for months.

It’s very interesting that the one event to inflict so much devastation on the modern world in such a short amount of time is non-material, but very real nonetheless.

Once this is over, there must be an accounting of the crimes committed against entire populations by their governments.

Very illuminating, and now it makes more sense that Bill Gates himself has featured so prominently in the COVID-19 scamdemic. What does Gates want out of all this? What’s his goal? Surely not money. What then? My purely personal theory is that he wants to be remembered as a great historical figure, a quasi-Messiah. Not a very original goal, but a very human one, unfortunately.
