WHO’s new estimate of COVID-19 fatality rate is just 0.13%, nowhere close to the 3.4% that they recklessly reported in March, which frightened the ever-loving crap out of the world. We know what happened next.

Ever hear about all the violence caused by mask propaganda from the mainstream media? Neither have I. And yet there has been an enormous surge in violent incidents over the wearing of a piece of cloth. This is the effect of propaganda, this is the power it holds over the public. And the corporate media will never report on this eruption of violence over this talisman because it runs counter to their authoritarian narrative that “masks save lives”, and that mask mandates have no unintended consequences.

The performing arts are completely gone. As far as I can tell, there seems to be no plan to bring them back, other than “wait for a vaccine.” The federal government isn’t exactly rushing to save the ballet from destruction, and our biggest cities and arts centers seem completely paralyzed. Los Angeles is reluctant to open playgrounds, much less theaters. New York City can barely bring itself to allow people to eat inside of restaurants. Thus, Broadway is dark until God knows when. The Metropolitan Opera has canceled its entire season. Vital cultural touchstones have moved online, a thin substitute.“

Amazon never locked down. They continued to operate throughout the COVID hysteria. Many predicted disaster, and yet now it is revealed that every other American had a 50% greater risk of contracting COVID than Amazon’s many employees. Which means that lockdowns had no effect on virus transmission. The tragedy inflicted by shutting down vast swaths of our modern, complex economy was in vain.

Irving Middle School teachers all called in sick on Monday, declaring their fear of contracting COVID-19, and effectively abandoning the children that they should be instructing, sacrificing their well-being to a childish political game.

A positive development, and unexpected, is that the teachers returned to school on Tuesday, after the district superintendent sent a letter to the teachers letting them know that they will face unpaid leave if they test negative for COVID and remain at home.

Yes, they should be fired and new teachers should be hired. But the problem stems from the fact that the schools and teachers experience almost no competition. These problems emerge every single time a monopoly on a single service exists. Crap service, crap employees. The only cure is competition. Insert a competing private option right next to Irving Middle School, and watch how quickly Irving shapes up.
