Italy’s COVID death toll in context

Italy’s COVID death toll has reached 70,797.

BUT…

14,080 deaths in patients over the age of 90.

29,224 deaths between age 80-89.

17,493 deaths between 70-79.

805 deaths under 50.

54 deaths under 30.

Only 3.1% of those deaths occurred in patients with no underlying illness. 65.9% had three or more pre-existing conditions, according to the ISS.

Context matters. And lack of context with this issue has brought Western civilization to the brink of self-destruction.
