Oklahoma gov. Stitt changes school quarantine rules to reverse massive failure rate among students

According to the new guidance changes, students who were exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID, but wore masks and distanced, will not be forced to quarantine for two weeks before returning to school. This will improve the situation dramatically for thousands of Oklahoma families, who don’t have the luxury of easily accommodating a sudden quarantine order.

This is a heroic move in the right direction, away from COVID hysteria, but as usual the familiar organizations are up in arms over it, primarily teacher’s organizations. The solution to this is to tell the teachers that if they don’t feel safe being around children, they should quit and be replaced with someone who is willing and able and not afraid. Punishing kids is not the answer.
