Israel reaps what it sows

No other modern nation has been so purely a product of the modern incarnation of terrorism than Israel. Shortly after World War 2, Jewish religious fanatics exploited the goodwill of the world, squandering it by committing the Deir Yassin massacre of Palestinian families in order to terrorize thousands into abandoning their land in the 1948 Palestinian Exodus. The Jewish terrorists didn’t stop there: even after the massacre, the remaining Palestinians were willing to broker a deal with the Jewish people, in order to give them a homeland. Folke Bernadotte, the Swedish World War 2 hero who had previously negotiated the release of over 30,000 Jewish concentration camp prisoners, was sent to mediate. In response, the Lehi Jewish terrorist group murdered him! Thus began decades of terrorism and endless conflict, as Israel steadfastly refused to cooperate or peacefully engage the surrounding nations. They had Uncle Sam, picking up every tab, and hand-delivering every weapon. No need to get along with anyone under those circumstances. And now Israel oversees the remnants of Palestine, a glorified open-air prison, filled with millions of Arabs who live in abject terror of the next Israeli attack. Is it any surprise that they would occasionally return fire? Israel has attempted to remove them from their land for decades, but the Palestinians remain. Jewish settlers continue to push further into Palestinian territory, launching their own attacks, and then claiming the land. Contrary to news broadcasts, Israel’s government loves the occasional rocket fire from Gaza. It provides the excuse for a murderous pogrom, of which hundreds of Palestinians pay the price, including many children. Israel loves to claim that Hezbollah hides among civilians as they launch their attack. How convenient for Israel, to be able to claim that every innocent Palestinian life lost is somehow their own fault. This attack on Palestine could possibly be their last. The world is watching. Hi-def cellphone video is recording Israeli atrocities and then broadcast over social media. This is unsustainable. Something must give, and I believe that it will be Israel, a nation that will disappear just as swiftly and violently as it appeared. A horror, and a tale as old as the human race.
