Seemingly random, sadistic violence is apparently a common occurrence at the hands of the IDF. I post this particular instance because they admit doing it, and give a clearly made-up-on-the-spot excuse for it. Here is a strange aspect to these random killings and terrorizations of Palestinians: the behavior seems to mimic the behavior of the cinematic portrayal of Nazis. Not merely the actual behavior of Nazis, but the way that the Nazis have been portrayed on the silver screen. Snipers killing random concentration camp inmates, random kidnappings, beatings, et cetera, its almost as if the IDF is reenacting scenes from Schindler’s List or other Holocaust-centric films. When I say that Israel is the most Freudian nation to have ever existed, I also mean strange phenomena such as this. There’s no way to know how deep this collective psychosis goes. We only know that we’re dealing with a deeply racist, ideology-driven nation. They’ve mastered the art of indoctrinating their youth, creating a self-perpetuating cycle of hate, death, and war. A monstrous ideology the core of which lies a false victimhood that is used to justify an unbroken sequence of all-too-real atrocities.
