The French Revolution is, sadly, the apt analogy here. An out-of-touch Political Class during times of crisis creates the perfect storm for populist/fascist movements to rise up and take control. That would, of course, be a terrible tragedy, but it’s the inevitable conclusion if the lockdowns continue.
What is needed is a peaceful, philosophical, liberty revolution, one that shocks the public and their rulers into a higher awareness of the meaning of a free society, and the destruction wrought by infringing on liberty.

The lockdowns have lit the fuse to a social time-bomb. While there is no way to avoid a meltdown, lifting the lockdowns immediately will dramatically diminish the fallout.
