Beautifully unmasked children, learning & interacting in South Dakota.
When more Illinois parents actually want this for their kids, it will happen. https://t.co/jg15fBKkfa

Pfizer just announced that 0 out of 20,000 in the placebo group died of covid since the trial began 9 months ago
In that time period, 400k Americans died of covid or ~.1%.
We'd expect 20 covid deaths if the placebo group were chosen at random.
The chance of 0? 1 in 500 million

The best thing youâll watch today. WARNING: Language
That man on the cover of the Rage album is ThĂch QuáșŁng Äức, a 65-year old Vietnamese Buddhist monk who set himself on fire near a busy Saigon street on June 11th, 1963. His self-immolation was an act of protest against the torture of monks, desecration of religious sites, forced conversions, rape, among other repressive and anti-Buddhist crimes, committed by the Roman Catholic government. These images are graphic, but among the most powerful in the world. Notice that he retained the Lotus posture during the entire time he remained alive:
He/She/It is coming, you can bet the farm on it. Barreling toward us like a silent, runaway freight train, a great white shark gliding straight for us. By the time it hits, the Doomsday clock will have run out and we the human race will have to yet again contend with the greatest evil our species has ever known. Itâs conditionally inevitable. Despite the fact that we were born with the submerged impulse to create this monster, we do have a choice. Our ability to think gives us this choice. Reject it completely, reject the path that weâre on, reject the inevitable destination. Snap out of the fugue state youâve been lulled into. Free your mind before its too late.
Iâm speechless.

âMaskâwearing became the quickly improvised, if obligatory, social ritual; failure to don one was met with righteous indignation, a clear sign of ritual violation… By disguising an individualâs face it gave greater salience to collective identity.â
