The NYT article on how 40-cycle PCR tests generate mostly false-positives

“Your coronavirus test is positive. Maybe it shouldn’t be”

The PCR test amplifies genetic matter from the virus in cycles; the fewer cycles required, the greater the amount of virus, or viral load, in the sample. The greater the viral load, the more likely the patient is to be contagious.

This number of amplification cycles needed to find the virus, called the cycle threshold, is never included in the results sent to doctors and coronavirus patients, although it could tell them how infectious the patients are.

In three sets of testing data that include cycle thresholds, compiled by officials in Massachusetts, New York and Nevada, up to 90 percent of people testing positive carried barely any virus, a review by The Times found.

“One solution would be to adjust the cycle threshold used now to decide that a patient is infected. Most tests set the limit at 40, a few at 37. This means that you are positive for the coronavirus if the test process required up to 40 cycles, or 37, to detect the virus.

Tests with thresholds so high may detect not just live virus but also genetic fragments, leftovers from infection that pose no particular risk — akin to finding a hair in a room long after a person has left, Dr. Mina said.

Any test with a cycle threshold above 35 is too sensitive, agreed Juliet Morrison, a virologist at the University of California, Riverside. “I’m shocked that people would think that 40 could represent a positive,” she said.

A more reasonable cutoff would be 30 to 35, she added. Dr. Mina said he would set the figure at 30, or even less. Those changes would mean the amount of genetic material in a patient’s sample would have to be 100-fold to 1,000-fold that of the current standard for the test to return a positive result — at least, one worth acting on.”

 

This is clearly insane. Disastrous public policy is being implemented based on the results of these tests. And if they really are generating 90% false positives, then every COVID policy is based on a lab error. We need an executive order, or piece of legislation that places a 30-cycle cut-off for PCR tests. The bogus case-demic would end, and we could return to our normal lives.

Norman’s COVID testing site, Immy Labs, uses false positive-plagued 40-cycle PCR test

Immy Labs is where all of Norman’s schoolchildren go to get tested for COVID, and if they test positive, they soon receive a Health Dept. call that commands them to isolate for two weeks. Well, I just spoke with an Immy Labs rep, and they confirmed that they use a 40-cycle PCR test. Thanks to the New York Times piece on the subject, we now know that a PCR test at the 40-cycle level produces a false positive over 90% of the time. Who sets the cycle that high for these testing sites? We’ve known for months that anything above 30-cycle is producing false positives, and the likely culprit in the current case-demic sweeping the country.

Kids, and parents, cannot live like this, where everyone waits on pins and needles for the random calls from school or the local Health Dept. regarding quarantines. The 40-cycle test is at the heart of the problem. Oklahoma needs legislation that bans the use of any COVID test above 30 cycles. This will end the phony case-demic, and will likely end the entire scamdemic itself.

But also notice this: she looks completely normal. She probably is completely normal. This is what is so dangerous about what is happening: otherwise normal people have succumbed to a doomsday ideology. We like to joke that most of these people have other serious problems, but I now question that assumption. As terrifying as it is to admit, the people screaming for death and eternal lockdowns have up to now lived as average, normal people.

Pre-historic tribal mindlessness, that evolved shadow hidden in the corners of our psyche, and suppressed by civilization, is re-emerging.

 

Tyranny is being normalized

The worst consequence of the past 8 months of lockdown fascism is that much of these authoritarian power grabs have become normalized. People are far more willing to accept arbitrary and random lockdowns now than they would have over a year ago. Even in the face of the clear mountain of evidence that COVID-19 is a mild virus, people have been conditioned to meekly accepting periodic and severe shutdowns, forced mask-wearing, and various public “health” campaigns that basically shame people into cowering within their homes. This is so tragic, because it will take decades to reclaim normalcy. So long as the “experts” continue to speak, as Legion did, with one voice, and so long as we listen, this descent into a psychological paralysis will be permanent. The “experts” will never change their tune. Our only choice is to reject outright the opinions of “the experts”. They must be completely discredited in our eyes. We have to break free of this reign of experts, because they hold far too much sway over public opinion currently.

Maybe an entirely new society needs to be created, where those who do reject COVID fundamentalism can migrate, and then live in peace and freedom.  Far too many have accepted with open arms this new hypochondriac religion, a society-destroying ideology, and they will never recover. They are beyond reason and argument, their evolved tribal brain has been triggered, and nothing will bring them out of it.

Signs of civilizational decay abound

Watch if you can stomach it, and understand why people have died for the ideal of freedom, the ideal of placing severe limits on the use of power. It’s because, if those limits are extended, and the restrictions loosened, casual cruelty is inflicted by those who hold power. Callous indifference to the humanity of those around them is the natural state of these thugs.
