Woohoo!  South Korea and the US will hold massive “war games” to intimidate North Korea on the heels of new UN sanctions.  30,000 troops are stationed in South Korea, get them out before they get killed in a war that the US has no business being anywhere near.

The US-backed Saudi assault on Yemen has been going on for eleven months, killing thousands of innocents, destroying vital infrastructure, and solidifying the support of the Houthi rebels, the Yemeni group the Saudis claim they combating.  This is what happens when Americans don’t pay attention to what their government does abroad in their name.  It’s likely almost no American citizen has even heard of this conflict, but it is happening nonetheless, and it will have very real consequences.

Drug prohibition is the reason the drug cartels exist in the first place, along with the black market crime rampant in the US, as well as the proliferating bureaucracies that have been set up to combat the effects of prohibition.  End prohibition and crime will evaporate, and the DEA and other Drug War agencies will have no reason to exist.

D.A.R.E, that ridiculous organization that promotes the Drug War to kids, wants to be very clear that it still loathes pot.  Keep your kids away from the malign influence of these low-level minions for Prohibition.  Better yet, take your kids to hear a speaker from LEAP, Law Enforcement Against Prohibition.
