The suicidal stupidity of leftist activism

It’s hard to comprehend how someone could be led down an internet path that ends in showing up IRL to an ICE operation with the intention of blocking vehicles, and impeding their work. What in the world do they believe the outcome would be? Her death was unnecessary, and will be used as fuel to stoke rage that will in turn lead to an incredible amount of violence. But let’s not ignore the fact that she showed up, with her wife, fully intending to scrap with ICE cops.

It reminds me, in a way, of J6. Silly, needless, provocative. And for many people, deadly.

Tyler Robinson drove 3 hours to Panguitch, Utah, for a steak after Kirk assassination

This is all very bizarre. After the assassination, Robinson drove 3 hours from Orem to Panguitch, and had a steak at the bar of Cowboy’s Steakhouse. Why is he not exhibiting any real emotion other than calm, good-natured contendedness after Kirk’s death? You’d think someone who’d never killed anyone before, a straight-A student, and by all accounts an exemplary young man, would be a swirling vortex of emotion. But he’s not.  Other killers have behaved in a similar manner: Luigi Mangione, the young man who murdered United Health CEO Brian Thompson. I would wager that if Thomas Matthew Crooks had been captured alive, he would’ve also exhibited the same calm, good-humored demeanor. I have no idea what that means, but its significant. Probably the most significant detail of these killings. It’s almost like they’re unable to feel destabilizing emotions at all.

Thomas Crooks’ house had no silverware

We have no answers as to why a scrawny kid came within a hair’s breadth of killing Trump during a campaign rally. This story has been completely dropped, and there appears no motivation, even on Trump’s part, to discover the truth. By far the strangest detail to me is the fact that Crooks’ home was devoid of silverware, and that the entire home was apparently professionally scrubbed before police could conduct an investigation.

Also, this is Crooks’ father. His parents both work as therapists, supposedly. Does this look like a man who works at all, much less as a therapist?

Medical transports fraud is now being exposed

Fallout from the Maduro claw game has already been newscycled, so now it’s back to important matters.

Memory-holed atrocity: 5 American soldiers killed in Gaza in November 2023

We know why these deaths were covered up: they were going in for a hostage rescue attempt, and Israel shot them down. Remember, in November 2023 most of us didn’t know what Israel’s game plan was. Some of us did, but apparently not the US military. Israel was gearing up for a genocide, not a rescue. They didn’t care about the hostages, which we now know. This was a mini USS Liberty event, and we’ll probably never get the full truth surrounding this tragedy.

A big part of Israel’s war strategy banks on the inability of the world to believe that they could be capable of such depravity. In the same way that the most successful serial killers are handsome, charming men. It’s too difficult for too many people to believe that they are capable of it.

Maduro in the Oval Office?

Are we about to see the most Trump thing ever? I don’t think Trump will be able to resist the opportunity to bring Maduro himself into the Oval Office, bound and gagged like a Thanksgiving turkey, as he gloats over his victory. I’ll now be disappointed if this doesn’t happen.

Venezuela a year from now

Overnight it seems, we’re returned to 2004, with echoes of Bush-era fanfare over a “mission accomplished”, as born-again neoconservatives going full Pentacostal over Maduro being perp-walked to a jail cell. “We own the oil now”, and “we liberated the Venezuelans”, are identical talking points from the Iraq War era. How’d it all turn out for Iraq? It’s a failed state, a dumpster fire, a hell on earth. Regime change has a terrible track record, and nations that are force-fed them always turn into lands ruled by the most barbaric. If Venezuela doesn’t descend into a cartel slaughterhouse, I’ll eat my hat. Trump doesn’t have the stomach to secure the oil, nor the manpower to prevent someone far worse than Maduro taking power.

Regime change supporters thumb their noses at the warnings of a new Vietnam: “It didnt’ happen!” Yeah, the quagmire comes later. We’re about to get a front-row seat to the sunk cost fallacy on a geopolitical scale.

Did the US just confiscate all Venezuelan oil?

The fanfare from conservative influencers has now turned to “woohoo we took their oil without losing a single US soldier!” This is an ominous development. Venezuelans are not going to peacefully accept the rape of their natural resources by American oil companies.

Trump now claims that the US will run Venezuela for the time being, without informing anyone what that might entail. How many US troops would that take? What happens when Venezuelan soldiers resist?

This will turn into a disaster that the US will own. Whatever the outcome, the blame and responsibility will rest with Trump.
