Mumps: An outbreak, a quarantined Navy ship, and another Merck cover-up

Though you wouldn’t know it from watching the nightly news, there is a mumps outbreak currently underway throughout the U.S., one that is 20 times larger than the measles “outbreak” currently causing so much opportunistic hand-wringing and fear-mongering among the government officials and their stenographers in the mainstream media. It’s spreading like a wildfire through the vaccinated student body of several universities, stupefying health officials, who can only recommend getting an MMR “booster” in lieu of actual advice.

Something else you probably haven’t heard about is the Navy ship entering its third month of quarantine on the high seas, literally sailing in circles as it struggles to regain control of a “mumps-like illness” currently infecting a portion of the fully-vaccinated sailors aboard.

Why aren’t these stories given the same airtime as the measles “outbreak”? One reason might be due to the fact that Merck has, for the past seven years, been embroiled in a lawsuit over the efficacy of the mumps component of the Measles/Mumps/Rubella vaccine. The lawsuit was filed by two former Merck scientists who claimed that Merck engaged in fraud by concealing the poor efficacy of the mumps component of the MMR vaccine. Stephen A. Krahling and Joan Wlochowski, virologists who had worked in Merck’s vaccine laboratory from 1999 to 2002, allege that they were forced to participate in “Protocol 007”, the official name for the effort to falsify research to make the vaccine appear far more effective in inducing immunity to mumps than it actually did.

The reason for the lack of coverage is more than likely due to the fact that Pharma pays the salaries of the major media outlets, $3.7 billion in 2018 alone. They also own your Congressman, your family doctor, and probably your priest.  The narrative is on the auction block, and Merck can outbid everyone else, including the families of teenage daughters now crippled from an aluminum adjuvant in their murderous Gardasil vaccine, or formerly pregnant women who suffered a miscarriage, mysteriously, immediately after receiving a flu vaccine.

Vaccines are not sacrosanct, they are a pharmaceutical product produced powerful, corrupt corporations with no incentive to test for safety. But questioning vaccines draws the same ire as questioning the troops did at the height of the war on terrorism hysteria. “I support vaccines” is the new “I support the troops”. It’s an empty incantation, blind support that deserves criticism, ridicule, and debate. Supporting the troops has been equated with blindly supporting their deliverance into whatever new theater of death our Political Class deems appropriate to their interests.

I oppose war because I truly do support the troops. Their lives should hold more value to the ones with power over them. Accountability should be brought to the pharmaceutical industry in the same way that it should be brought to the weapons industry, the complex of interests that gains from endless war. Powerful industries that receive protection from the Political Class deserve criticism. What they do not deserve is a captive nation of customers, who are forced to inject their untested product into their bodies.
