Not all college football will be cancelled

COVID-19 is its own vaccine
I’ve said this before, and the fact that it sounds so controversial is a testament to the effectiveness of the unending propaganda campaign surrounding the virus. But should it be? The virus itself poses no risk to any normal person of average health under 30, and low to moderate risk to anyone under 60. The average age of death hovers around 80, and almost all deaths and hospitalizations occur only in individuals who have a pre-existing condition. So, for the vast majority of us, rather than waiting around for a sketchy vaccine that will, at best, provide limited immunity, and bring with it a host of side-effects, why not just catch the virus and develop real immunity?
If we are really going to go the route of shaming others for not protecting others, why not shame them for not consciously contracting COVID-19? To develop natural, lifelong immunity would, by far, be the best way to protect the vulnerable around us. Isn’t that what the mask shamers are so up-in-arms about?
So rather than risk our lives, and those of our children, by forcing everyone to restrict their breathing through mask-wearing, let those not at risk catch the virus and recover from it.
The vast majority of us, over 99.5%, will easily survive a COVID infection. We have a mountain of data that shows exactly who is at risk, and who isn’t. We can identify those who are at risk. We can identify those who aren’t. For those of us who fall into the latter category, why not just catch it and get it over with? We would then be providing true protection to our fellow man, rather than an illusion of protection.
The countries that are sacrificing their populations under lockdowns are merely delaying the inevitable. The catastrophic suffering from shutting down the social world has been in vain. New Zealand and Australia, for instance, have descended into complete totalitarian states, all in the vain effort to prevent the spread of a virus that poses a threat only to a minuscule percentage of the population. We know who those people are. Isolate them, if you must, but allow the non-vulnerable majority to contract and recover from the virus. Instant herd immunity! Then the human race could turn the page on one of the most tragic, self-inflicted catastrophes in history.
Of course, there is more at play in this phony pandemic than merely stopping a virus. It’s about power, and money.
There is no stopping the virus. The vaccine, like the mask, will be a placebo, a talisman, a crucifix wielded before the phantoms of our mind. If there is no stopping the virus, then we must simply contract it, allow the virus itself to vaccinate us, and bring society closer to true herd immunity. Will anyone say that out loud? We know the answer to that.
Jeffrey Tucker on the necessity of moral courage in the face of the new totalitarianism
Jeffrey Tucker is one of the few high-profile libertarians to have risen to the occasion in the face of virus fanaticism and authoritarian lockdowns. His latest piece is a strident call to (intellectual and philosophical) arms in opposition to the new authoritarianism. On the urgent need for a vocal, principled anti-lockdown movement, Tucker writes:
“Whether this movement is working in the realms of academia, culture, journalism, or politics, there is an absolute urgency that it exercise unrelenting moral courage and integrity.Ferociously. It should be uncompromising on crucial points. It must be willing to speak even when it is unfashionable to do so, even when the media is screaming the opposite, even when the Twitter mob floods your notifications, even when you are shamed for thinking for yourself.
This time around, as you have surely noticed, even the voices of good people with good ideas fell silent in fear. This fear must be banished. The blowback against this despotism will come but it is not enough. We need character, integrity, courage, and truth, and this perhaps matters more than ideology and knowledge. Knowledge without the willingness and courage to speak is useless, because (as E.C. Harwood taught us) for integrity there is no substitute.”
Australia’s COVID cops are violent thugs
This is how the new hypochondriac totalitarianism is enforced, with a legion of armed thugs unleashing terror on those who can’t fight back. Cop worshipers, take note. In the new pandemic police state, the cops will be wearing the same uniform, but it will be a different breed of degenerate within it. We must remain capable of discerning the character of someone, regardless of which side of the badge they are on.
The hypochondriacs have now killed college football
The autumn football season on university campuses is effectively dead. I suppose that it’s no surprise, but still dismaying nonetheless. Primarily for the fact that this is more evidence that the hypochondriacs hold far too much sway over the opinions of decision-makers. From schools, to masks, to work, to church, to recreation, and everything else in between, these shrill, totalitarian thugs are effecting a cultural coup, a blitzkrieg takeover of all of social life. This is a very dangerous development, because it will be almost impossible to reverse short of complete revolution. And revolutions produce results almost diametrically opposed to the intentions of those who begin one.
The large segment of the American population that doesn’t consent to this authoritarian takeover must lift a finger and do SOMETHING to make their voice heard. I’ve heard the “but what could I do?” excuse before. If you’re breathing, you’ve got a voice and can add it to others.
In regard to college football, there is hope in the #LetUsPlay movement that has arisen recently, but their approach is fatally flawed. Many have claimed that “the virus can be controlled”. No, it can’t, and the hypochondriacs will crucify that argument in the public square for all to see. The correct approach is to just say that the virus poses no risk whatsoever to 21-year old athletes. It poses no real risk to anyone below the age of 55.
The correct approach is to call the hypochondriacs what they are: fear-peddling grifters eager to strangle our free and open society on the altar of their greed. These white-collar thugs see riches in the distance, riches taken from the pockets of a sufficiently subjugated population, and they need to keep the lie going until their reach their payday.
To escape the asylum, we must treat COVID-19 as the unavoidable, negligible threat that it is
The only path out of the darkness that our local and state governments have plunged us in, is to immediately stop treating COVID-19 as a meaningful risk to our lives. For 99.9% of us, it poses no real risk whatsoever. For the small number for whom the virus does pose a risk, they can isolate if they wish, but the best way to protect those vulnerable would be for the rest of us to contract COVID-19. The virus is its own vaccine. We need to understand that crucial point: to protect the vulnerable, the virus has to spread among the healthy, who will then develop immunity. No COVID vaccine is coming. Thankfully, the virus is far less dangerous than even the flu for the vast majority, and the infection would be much safer and far more effective than any injectable brew cooked up by Pharma.
Lockdowns, which decimate the economy, not only put the vulnerable at a far greater risk than COVID, but delay the inevitable spread of the virus. The economic and social sacrifices made have been in vain. As sad as that is, we must face it if we are going to avoid total social collapse.
COVID-19 is only unique in that it has received the most coordinated public relations makeover in history. Through the magic of masterful propaganda, a mild infection has been transformed into a rampant killer. The public has been manipulated into fearing this phantom, and has been willing to sacrifice their safety and security to protect themselves from this phantom threat. How tragically ironic.
To escape from the madness, we must cease looking at every other person as primarily a carrier and spreader of infection. We have to view them as people again.
Risk is an unavoidable aspect of life. So is getting sick. We engage in far greater risks on a daily basis than COVID without losing our minds. We can do the same with the virus if only we make the conscious decision to escape.
Nashville city council member wants the maskless to be charged with attempted murder
The mask debate has become a kind of Rorschach test for insanity/authoritarian inclinations.
Large UK study finds almost no evidence of COVID transmission by students
From the Independent:
“One of the most detailed studies yet will show that it is safe for schools to fully reopen next month, a leading child health expert has assured parents and students.
Professor Russell Viner, president of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, said that the research, which was carried out in 100 institutions in the UK, will confirm “there is very little evidence” of coronavirus transmission where pupils have returned.
“The risks to children from Covid are very low and the risks of school closures we know are very serious,” he said.“
No amount of evidence will convince the fear-addicted masses, nor will it sway the parasites among the public sector unions and policy-making classes. COVID hysteria has been very profitable for them, and they have no desire to see it end.
