No surprise, he gets the meaning behind the mask-burning exactly backwards; they’re burning their masks as a symbolic rejection of the totalitarian, book-burning, censoring, COVID fundamentalism that has arisen like a psychological plague over the past year. They reject fake scientist Ding’s Doomsday-ism, and his gaslighting over the meaning of the mask-burning won’t deter them. They are finished with this garbage, literally.
