I never cease to be amazed at Israel’s success in branding its every critic as nothing more than a callous racist. The most articulate voices against Israeli brutalities against the Palestinian inmates of the Mideast Auschwitz are shouted down with the blind accusation of “anti-Semitism”! They know the dishonesty of what they’re doing when they level this charge, and they know its effect. The effect being the intimidation into silence of anyone who would publicly point out Israeli atrocities. And now, in a supreme work of Shakespearean irony, we bear witness to the legion of right wing influencers engaging in the same “cancel culture” that they raged against until very recently. Bad-faith accusations of racism, attempts to have their ideological opponents fired from their jobs and ostracized from polite society, weapons built by the fanatical Left are now embraced by fanatical Right.
Point out that Israel has so far massacred 11,000 Palestinians in a retributive, indiscriminate bombing campaign, including close to 5,000 murdered children? Anti-Semite.
Organize any kind of public protest over Israeli atrocities? Anti-Semites, the lot of them. And the police will show up and break up, and laws will be passed outlawing such demonstrations.
Notice evidence that the Israeli military killed many of the October 7th victims via the notorious “Hannibal Directive”, including the Israeli base commander at Erez Crossing who called in an air strike on his own position, killing his own soldiers? Think that something is just not right about all those charred bodies and cars, and tank-shelled houses where hostages were being held, and think maybe, just maybe, these people were killed by Israeli soldiers? Anti-Semite.
Observe how many powerful US officials hold dual Israeli citizenship, including virtually every senior CDC official during the COVID era, as well as Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, and many members of Congress? You’re just a flaming Anti-Semite and should be fired and struggle sessioned. But all this is okay because it’s not “woke”.
Point out that Israel has a history of brutality, including the King David hotel bombing, the assassination of World War 2 hero and Israel-Palestine mediator Folke Bernadotte in 1948, the 1982 Sabra and Shatila massacre, and many, many others? Filthy Anti-Semite!
Ponder the possibility that billionaire pedophile, now a pile of dust, Jeffrey Epstein, ran a blackmail operation for Mossad, the Israeli spy agency, for the purpose of compromising powerful US officials? Anti-Semite AND a conspiracy theorist.
Come to an understanding that the state of Israel, in its ethno-supremacism and operation of a vast concentration camp of 2.5 million people who it rains down death and destruction periodically, strangely mirrors that of the Third Reich? Anti-Semite.
There is something very Freudian going on with the Jewish nation, but point it out publicly and the unsheathing of knives becomes audible.
Point out that we US citizens have nothing in common with these barbarians who only pretend to like us in order to get our taxpayer billions and the priceless war guarantee, and you pretty much can’t go out in public. But it is imperative that we point it out, because this “alliance” is unsustainable.
Because we fear being labeled “anti-Semitic”, we pretend not to notice that Israel teaches its children to hate Palestinians, trafficks in Palestinian organs, and generally treats them as less than cattle. We also pretend not to notice the enormous, bordering on absolute, influence that Israel has over our own government (why in the frozen Hell is my Oklahoma governor meeting with Netanyahu?)
Every critic of the Ukraine war is now falling over themselves to declare undying support for Israel. It’s gross, and becomes even more grotesque as the Palestinian bodies pile up, and new evidence emerges of October 7th deaths at the hands of trigger-happy Israeli troops. Vicious snowflakes now attacking Israel’s critics in a manner identical to the way they were attacked for criticizing Zelensky’s corrupt and careless way of handling his own war.
All this is true, and must be said, for the simple and undeniable fact that Israel is a civilizational quicksand. Far from an ally, Israel is the United States’ greatest liability, and will be the end of the West if we do not cut ties with it and let it learn to exist on its own. My guess is that Israel would learn to play nice with its neighbors overnight. But will the US ever cut ties in this way? We know the grim answer. Israel has us by the balls, and I have a very bad feeling about the lengths that Israel would go to prevent a severing of this sickening co-dependent relationship. Is Israel above assassinating US officials, including US presidents? Just ask JFK and Reuben Efron. Are they above committing terrorism within our borders? All the evidence points to the reality that they are not, and would, unhesitatingly. This is no ally, this is a parasite, and it is not anti-Semitism to point it out.
