War at the end of the world

Or is it for the end of the world? Things are getting a little muddled within the MAGA nuthouse, and Trump himself appears ripe for commitment, considering his abrupt and hideous mental state at the tail end of February. I find it difficult to process how he could have so completely destroyed his legacy in a matter of just weeks, obliterating along the way the future of the Republican Party, who will surely lose the midterm elections, and the White House in 2028. But this is really secondary to the enormous crime that Trump and his sychophants have pursued with abandon this past month.

On February 28th, at 10:30am in Minab, Iran, a Patriot missile struck Shajarah Tayyiba Elementary School, killing 175 people, 110 of whom were children.  Less than an hour before, the Ayatollah, apparently convinced that Trump was serious in his overtures to sit down and talk, allowed himself unguarded time with with daughter and granddaughter, all of whom were immediately slaughtered in another airstrike. Almost the entire Iranian government was killed initially, apparently in hopes that whoever was left wouldn’t have the technical know-how to counterattack. This reckless mass murder set the stage for what is euphemistically being called a “war”. Killpen would be more accurate. The US and Israel launched a surprise attack on Iran, a nation that has never threatened us, never attacked us, and never tried to build the bomb. They have been willing for decades to talk with the US, make deals, and even befriend us. But our starcrossed ties to another Mideastern nation made this possible future, impossible. Israel, the rotted, psychopathic albatross hanging around the neck of the United States, has compelled our nation’s stewards into nothing less than mass murder.

We already see the war spiralling out of control. We were told it’d be over in a day or two. Then Israel continued bombing Tehran, and the IRGC responded with 70 waves of missiles directly into Israel, along with strikes at US airbases near Iran. Officially, the US death toll stands at 15, but anyone with a brain knows its far greater.

The US has proceeded to burn through 800 Patriot missiles in just four days, and our stockpile of weaponry is running dry. Now we’re told that the Iranian “operation” could last a year, and would involve ground troops to finish the job. Funny thing is, Israel how preemptively refused to send any Israeli soldiers to assist. Not surprising. Has anyone ever seen an IDF soldier fight another soldier, ever?

Here is a prediction: Trump will send in ground forces, and they will die. Not only will they die, but the IRGC will record HD footage of their deaths that the world will see. Remember the footage from AI-enabled Ukrainian drones locking onto Russian soldiers? The soldiers run helplessly, initially evading this inhuman tech, only to resign to death, kneel to pray, and then get blown apart. We will see this happen to young Midwestern men.

Trump appears blindly committed to a ground invasion. He’s bombed schools, the government, universities, power plants, every target that can be found, and yet the Iranians still fight back. The Strait of Hormuz is closed, which is now the latest justification for war. Do we not have a Congress, or a Senate, that can do anything at all to stop the madness? It appears not.

Pete Hegseth has revealed himself to be a slimy, belligerent sack of shit. Here he is, talking about “negotiating with bombs”

Easy to talk tough when you’re dropping bombs from the safety of 30,000 feet, onto an almost totally helpless “enemy”. But now Iran is gleefully awaiting the US ground invasion. Will Hegseth stand so tall in front of hundreds of flag-draped coffins? Because that is what is going to happen. Technological superiority has made us complacent. The IRGC will hand us our asses in buckets in a straight fight. They know, we know it, and they know we know it.

One has to wonder: is the entire Iranian slaughter a product of Trump’s enormously fragile ego? He attacks Iran. Iran fights back. He demands total surrender. Iran refuses. Trump threatens total annihilation of the nation of Iran in response. I’ve seen toddlers act this way, and its terrible to see the same attitude in an American President.

Trump knows he has to be careful with wild threats, because to maintain credibility, he must act on them. It appears that the only outcome of this war is, like all wars, a mountain of bodies. And a total closure of the Strait of Hormuz. Was it really worth it?
