We’re rapidly moving to a scenario where it will be too late to reverse course. The total surveillance infrastructure is being built out at such a rapid pace so that it will all be operational before any organized opposition can be mounted. Then comes the risk of normalization, where everyone has so acclimated to the new environment that no large-scale opposition becomes possible. Only a few pockets of resistance among the general public, all of whom can be easily smeared as whackos, nutjobs, conspiracy theorists, et cetera. If it isn’t stopped now, it will never be stopped.
