I’m fast losing what little respect or admiration I’ve had for any of the pop culture personalities I’ve enjoyed over the years. The COVID madness has exposed many of them for the authoritarian bigots they truly are, who appear to care not a whit for the plight of the millions of lockdown victims, isolated and unemployed. No, instead they marshal their talents in the service of lockdown propaganda, while insulting and smearing those who would question the COVID doomsday ideology, or, heaven forbid, resist.

Case in point: Jason Isaacs, esteemed British actor, has recently said that people who refuse to wear masks, or even wear them improperly, should be “hanging in the streets”. He later clarified that he referred to public stockades, but it does sound like he wouldn’t mind watching the execution of the reprobates who refuse to submit to mask fundamentalism. He openly wishes that they be locked up for this non-conformity.

Now, this is Saudi Arabia-level religious totalitarianism right here, but Isaacs will never see the connection because he is a complete fool. And because he’s a fool, he’ll never see his role in advocating for a very real, very ancient form of totalitarianism. Does he know anything at all about the real statistics surrounding COVID mortality? Does he know anything at all that he’s not spoon-fed? Of course not. None of these millionaire super-egos know anything. But the most dangerous aspect of them is their complete conviction in what they say.

The COVID madness proves that school must be separated from State

This piece in the New Yorker paints a tragic, intimate portrait of the human rights crime of “remote learning” that has been inflicted on children throughout the country. Schools, strangled by unions who care only about what they can wring out for themselves while holding children’s futures hostage, are irreparably broken. There must be another option for parents that is readily available in the event that union thugs shut down schools. And that option must be private, not public. It must be a citadel that a teacher’s union can’t sink their claws into.

What I envision is a private option that also takes a voucher in the event of a school shutdown. The voucher must be made immediately available, and the transition between the union-strangled public school and the private option must be free of all red tape, so parents can switch within a single day. You can imagine the screeching the union parasites would engage in over such a scenario. Let them screech. This would be nothing more than the reaction to competition, the reaction of an animal that realizes their power has been diminished. It would be an enormous improvement over the current situation.

Teacher’s unions are perfectly fine with sacrificing children’s wellbeing to their own bottom line. The COVID lockdown has proven this beyond a shadow of a doubt. Such an organization must not be allowed to hold so much power, and the only way to diminish it is to simply offer an alternative.
