White House blocked CDC attempt to require masks on U.S. public transportation

Never before has a sitting President blocked CDC power grabs the way Trump has done. We are witnessing the birth of the pandemic-industrial complex. A colossal grift built upon irrational fear of mild pathogens that requires the complete demolition of the concept of inalienable rights. This new pandemic industry cannot peacefully co-exist with a free society. Something clearly has to give. So far, freedom is losing, and just imagine what this country will look like in a decade if this industry grows unopposed. It will worm its way further into schools, corporate workplaces, public areas, and your own home. This is the “new normal” we keep hearing about, the existence of this massive new industry, and our obedient submission to its demands. From the article:

“The order would have been the toughest federal mandate to date aimed at curbing the spread of the coronavirus, which continues to infect more than 40,000 Americans a day. The officials said that it was drafted under the agency’s “quarantine powers” and that it had the support of the secretary of health and human services, Alex Azar, but the White House Coronavirus Task Force, led by Vice President Mike Pence, declined to even discuss it.

The two officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to comment, said the order would have required face coverings on airplanes, trains, buses and subways, and in transit hubs such as airports, train stations and bus depots.”

How do you think a President Biden would handle the CDC? He would give them complete reign over the country. This election may be a rare instance of the importance of single-issue voting.

Yes, Trump should lead us out of lockdown/testing/hysteria with the Barrington Declaration scientists at his side

Insightful piece at National Review:

And this is why the declaration matters: It snatches the science card from Biden and everyone else who claims the science should dissuade us from returning to normal life.

Trump now has the chance to take the science card himself — legitimately. He doesn’t need to pretend all scientists agree, or appeal to his own impressive recovery from COVID-19. Instead, he should remind everyone of the true cost of shutting down schools and businesses and churches…

…Barrington reminds us that the burden of proof was always on those who called for Draconian lockdowns. That’s because of the severe costs of these measures. As their declaration notes, the “current lockdown policies are producing devastating effects on short and long-term public health.” These include cancers that go undetected because of reduced screening, worse outcomes from cardiovascular disease, deteriorating mental health, and increased harm to at-risk children. All of these risks are especially acute for the young and the less affluent.“
