Leftist totalitarians ban the sale of electric lawn equipment

California’s massive lawn care economy has taken a killshot in the form of Assembly Bill 1346, which, as of January 1st, bans the sale of all gas-powered lawn equipment. Why would anyone pass such legislation when it would have such disastrous effects on the lives of the over 50,000 lawncare employees in the state? Because the people writing and passing these bills don’t give a crap about the lives affected. They are beholden to the Net Zero ideology, a dangerous religion being pushed in blue states like Cali, and see a hundred thousand lives ruined as an acceptable price. The reality of trade-offs never enter the minds of these people, or if they do, are quickly overridden by other considerations. This is an “ends justifies the means” situation, and we don’t yet have the mental, moral, or spiritual armor built up to meet this totalitarian ideology head-on.

Relenting on seemingly small issues like this one only emboldens the anti-carbon cult. Next will be gas stoves, gas cars, et cetera. The goal is to electrify everything, an impossible goal that will impoverish tens of millions.

Cost is something never considered with these thugs, who happen to also be against the only possible path to achieving their goal while no destroying civilization in the process: nuclear power.

There is no utopia to be attained, no Eden to return to via Net Zero. Only totalitarianism, mass starvation, mass death, and an end to civilization as we know it. Do the useful idiots pushing this legislation care? Not at all. They have no ideas in their minds, no compassion in their hearts. The ideology, like a virus, has taken over. It’s an underestimated and often-ignored phenomenon. There is no compromise with these people. They will push relentlessly to achieve their goal, while we cede ground slowly, and only when it is too late do we realize that we have nowhere else to go.

The story of the US and Israel is the same horror trope used in countless movies: a well-meaning but weak caregiver protectors either a serial killer or monster from the consequences of its actions, which only emboldens it. At the end of the movie, the killing only stops when either the monster itself is killed, or the caregiver. Or, in a plot twist, the caregiver himself finds the courage to kill the monster. These three outcomes are what is in store for us. One of these three possibilities is inevitable, it’s only a matter of time.

We have to go back

Look at the cultural trajectory that we are on. Where else can we go? How much lower? At some point along the way, we became embarrassed to express a love of beauty, and aesthetics. How dare we openly express a fondness for charming decor, lovely cities and towns, an unpretentious affinity for real beauty. Something very real and very rare has died in us, a priceless cultural soul has been extinguished, and too few are mourning it. We resign ourselves to our cubes, our pure heroin iPhones, our ugly-as-sin vehicles, injecting the digital Soma, give a small part of our souls each day to the god of Convenience, and live our lives like the flies of a summer.

What do the veterans of the Israeli attack on the USS liberty think about the subsequent cover-up?

Here’s a fun fact: the captain of the ship received the Medal of Honor, but his ceremony was the only one to have ever been conducted in private. Then-President LBJ didn’t award it himself, also a first.

Israel won’t stop until the Palestinians are either gone or someone forces them to stop

The IDF is conducting widespread demolitions throughout Gaza. This was never about Hamas. Israel has been giddy with bloodlust and greed ever since October 7th. Like a mad dog off its leash, it won’t stop until someone forces it to stop. But who has the courage or willpower to put an end to it? The world turns a blind eye to the most transparent ethnic cleansing operation in modern history. The Israeli soldiers appear to take a positive delight in tormenting and murdering these people.

Our federal gov’t is actively opposing the one state making a difference on the border

Barring assassination or electoral skullduggery, Trump will be president once again. He’s running on a closed border policy, and while I believe he’ll follow through, I have a feeling that any independent border operations conducted by Texas will offend Trump’s very fragile ego. Similar to the way he treated Republican governors who began reopening their states before he gave the go-ahead during the early stages of the pandemic. Trump’s ego is his worst enemy, here’s hoping that he won’t trip over it while securing our border.
