24-year old Chad Williams carried out a mass shooting at an Idaho drive-thru, following a familiar pattern of calm, controlled mass murderers we’ve seen too often over the past decade. The lack of any emotion disregulation at all is the most striking aspect of this class of killer. Currently no motive given, as if we’re just expected to accept, over and over, that these calm killers just “snapped” one day, and found themselves with an AR and a black bag full of ammo, and went on a spree that inevitably ends with their death.
